ETHIC AND DIAGNOSTIC COMPETENCE OF WORKERS OF THE EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL SPHERE (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ANALYSIS OF CASES FROM PRACTICE)

Abstract:
The problem of professional and ethical incompetence of pedagogical workers of the social sphere in the field of psychodiagnostics functions realization is considered. On the example of the analysis of two diagnostic situations which happened in an educational institution and one of the divisions, which are in the department of guardianship, the extremely low skill level of experts when choosing and using the methods of psychodiagnosticsin situations of pedagogical monitoring and social-psychological examination is shown. The author discusses the increase of a tendency to distribution of the phenomenon of pseudoscientific diagnostics in the «false» and «phantom diagnostics» forms in connection with psychometric and ethical incompetence of professional users of diagnostic tools.
