Abstract:

The article analyzes the didactic possibilities of the use of information technologies for distance learning in higher education. Author considers the pedagogical aspects of evaluating the effectiveness of the use of information technology for distance learning in the modern university. Describes the foreign and domestic approaches to the definition of criteria for the evaluation of informatization of distance education. Reveals the peculiarities of communication of teachers and students in the conditions of informatization of distance learning.
