Problems of use of information-computer technologies, as means in educational process

Abstract:
Introduction to information technology and its appearance in
education began in the eighties of the XX century. University teacher education
in this area began in 1985, when using a computer as a teaching tool in the
educational process started. Increasing popularization of using and producing
computers and the constantly increasing demand launched the necessity of a
separate teaching subject with a particular area of study which was called
Information Technology. This subject was officially recognized in 1995, and its
curriculum was introduced in 1998. The main objective of this program was to
help students to obtain information from world websites more easily and, on the
other hand, to be trained to use ICT tools and apply them in the teaching
process.
